We’re the McHowes
Except, That’s not our real names.
It’s what we call our family.
We’re Eva McMillan & Kyle Howe and we met each other on a beer drinking team in Montreal when we were 22 years old. We liked the same music & we were both science nerds & we both liked Vietnamese food & photography & so we fell in love the way that 22 year olds tend to do in the summertime when it’s just a fling & everything is full of hopefulness & parties & the whole world is new & there for exploring.
We both left at the end of the summer to pursue our own things - Kyle to get a Masters Degree in Meteorology & Eva to work 3 jobs for a year to save the money to travel to South East Asia with her sister for three months. We decided to stay together until we wanted to break up, and that was over a decade ago and so we threw a super epic party to celebrate that and got married in April 2016.
We’re now very enthusiastically Vancouverites and our shared love of music, food, beer and photos, and our rescue dog is only growing. We own a small creative business that includes website design, copywriting, wedding planning, photography, travelling, and drinking tons of coffee.
